Despite of everything, I was hoping that Nate & Layla will remain happy and out of Emily's life. Nathaniel stands for Layla because he love her even if she is not her soulmate- ok no problem, Emily will move on. But now this, what if Layla will fall sick and eventually died? what is wrong with Layla?? she's a good lady but that Nate is really something... though I understand that he didn't want to hurt Layla because he's been with her before he met Emily but he should have explained in a civilized way not rejecting and hurting her directly without any remorse...

Poor Layla caught up in all of this, I can’t help but feel for her. It seems terrible that everyone other than Nathaniel is paying the price for his decision to sever his soul bond with Emily. Somehow, I want Em & Nate’s soul bond to be some strange misunderstanding and obviously fate wants her with Raylen.

Is Layla also suffering the consequences? What will happen to her?
