I think he was cursed because he was going toooo wild and the only way to break the curse is to change. In this case the curse for him is also to have a person from the forest as his soulmate which won‘t even feel the bond but he will feel it and won‘t be able to kill her because of it and he will need to woo her further until she falls in love… like mother queen said before. So for her to fall in love with him he needs to change and when she comes to him of pure love, then I think the curse is broken. 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️😅
