Heavy is the head that wears the crown. Being a king definitely has its pros and cons. I despised Maxwellโs actions but I never truly hated him. Itโs sad how he couldnโt cope with his losses and the constant pressures brought upon by Maya. I hope Anna realizes soon that she actually tames the demon in Dante. Thank you for putting an end to one big question that we have Ashโฆ Maxwell really did kill himselfโฆ. So sad and I hope Anna would know that Maxwell really did love her sisterโฆ. The event before Dawn somehow explained that it was Maxwell who went to Annaโs room and heard her call Maryโs nameโฆ thatโs why he said it is haunting him downโฆ am I right on this? I hope next chapter will clear the air between Dante and Anna on what will happen to them now and Anna will somehow feel at ease and calm down knowing the truth about Dante ๐ Goodbye Maxwell. Hope you and Mary meet again in the next life ๐
Oh man- this chapter cleared up so much. It's alot to take in, but at the end of the day- I'm glad Ana isnt terrified of him, it seems like Dante is still our Dante just a bit older and more.. stoic.... and he's still interested in Anastasia. Oh Ash. My heart keeps breaking and mending. Will ghost Max and Mari find each other? will Prince Raylan get his own story? his plot becomes more and more interesting.
Wow ash_ this was a deep and dark chapter. But in all it was important. It shows that anyone is susceptible to pressure and can break. It was interesting how we all hated maxwell and automatically judged him by what we read and not the whole reality. It seems like you are trying to teach us a lesson here Author Ash. Thank you, this was eye opening. Basically you get us all from being nervous to hating someone then to almost losing our jobs cause we gotta read the new updates and forget our responsibility to at the end feeling guilty. ๐คฃ hands down the best writer that has ever lived โค๏ธ
The Demon is awake but his demonic nature has not been completely awakened. Hmmmm, interesting. His feelings for Anna are the same, or may be intensified with the way he complimented her. Sorry that Maxwell gotta go through all the mental stress from his mother and losing Marianna. But he is finnally relief from everything. Dante and demon still care for him and took the blame so he wonโt be seen as a coward king ๐ฅน Anna they wonโt be letting you go! So embrace yourself when the full golden moon comes cause thatโs when he will notice you as his soulmate! Ha Princess Niyassa will be the one to start it and the demon will come for her ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Thank you for yet another great chapter Ash!! Iโm glad to hear that Dante is still Dante, only more experienced. As for those who may cross himโฆI donโt think any of us are left in want of their names (Maya and Niyasa Iโm looking at you first). Hopefully the rest of the family can use their brains and there isnโt too much bloodshed. Crossing my fingers that Anna doesnโt stay too wary of him for too long. Honestly, I donโt blame her for being a bit weirded out and concerned/curious. She has heard bits and pieces and just wants to fit them together to finish the puzzle.
RIP Maxwell. I hope his tortured soul has now found rest, or found Mary. If they couldn't be together in life, maybe they could be together in death. Or even better, someone could bring them back... I can always hope. The new Dante isn't that much different to the old one, really, he's just "unleashed" everything that has been locked away or restrained. He seems to want Anna around him still, but is he still waiting for her answer? To be honest, the way he talked made me feel like he isn't planning to stick around, but even if that is the case right now, she will soon change his mind.
