It is obvious that Maxwell has already set his eyes on her. I wonder what's going to happen when the elders arrive with parchment, will he yield or is he gonna discard it and try to take away Anna. I was surprised that Anna didn't emotionally support Dante more at the old palace, given all the times he was there for her. I was a little worried that she was pushing him away so much that the soulmate connection wouldn't happen. However, after the scene between the two outside the stables and then her desperate need "to go for a walk," just to unintentionally find him makes me feel she is succumbing to the connection. I still feel like King Maxwell is pursuing Anna due to her likeness of Mary. I just can't be sure of whether he wants her romantically to fill that void or if he is trying more to protect her the way he couldn't protect Mary .....hmmmmAnother great chapter!
