I honestly don't understand. What's the point of Sam's background and his past? None of it seemingly matters. Sam is instead behaving like the role model good person, he is such a good person, you might as well have made the title 'rebirth protagonist's journey.' He rescues damsels in distress. Feels happy from other people's happiness. Forgiving betrayal with a snap of his fingers is one thing itself is weird, but to forget all his suffering and pretend like none of it happened?
