In Mahabharata Krishna Sudarshan and Vishnu Sudarshan there is a huge difference. Because Krishna in the Mahabharat period so he had a weaker version of Sudarshan because there were no powerful enemies at that time. But when he beheaded Shishupal he used Vishnu Sudarshan not his Sudarshan. Which is why he had bleeding when using it. You may argue he did that to save Drupadi but you forget he makes his body invincible except his leg palm so that he can kill like prophecy. Why I'm saying this is because when mc meets Krishna, Krishna asks mc to ask for a boon, Mc will say Appear in your true form (Vishnu) and Karna will say give him Vishnu Sudarshan as boon.
