PrimisOptimus
Why did the author change remases's personality? Because when he, he made all the NPC's not automatically hate Humans, then it turns around, just murders lizzy for no reason. That's Sound me on the whole book so far. I just don't understand it because that's not how he write the character to begin with?
Well, the primary reason, delving into spoiler territory, is tied to the forthcoming Path to Power he intends to pursue. Although the killing of Lizzie may not have been imperative, even in her absence, little is truly forfeited. Now, MC can control his own urges to kill or not to kill the people of the new world. However, this capacity doesn't extend uniformly to NPCs, as evidenced in the original narrative. Unlike the MC, NPCs lack the same level of control. Consequently, if the MC were to eliminate a significant number of individuals, as long as the majority remains unaware of his actions, there is no perceptible alteration in how the majority views the MC. This aspect is pivotal for the impending Path to Power, encompassing both the act of killing and the inherent tendencies of NPCs.
