Is the MC going through spartan 2 surgery? by the way this is already my favorite halo fanfic

good writing quality, not sure about him becoming a spartan though. in mass effect is has been done to death and yet rarely did adding a single soldier achieve anything. this is a war of technology in ship vs ship battles a single spartan wont change anything. john surely didnt, it was the shangeli rebellion that won the war, johnny just fought the flood.

I understood little at the beginning of the chapter and nothing at the end of the chapter. Does the experiments on convicts have anything to do with the protagonist? Or is it just filler?
