Dude I really like this so far, I think your story has so much potential. Just going to give some advice from reading a lot of magic/cultivation novels, obviously you can take it or leave it. World building and the characters personality so far is extremely solid. Power system is still a bit unclear so my advice will focus a bit on this one. Adding elemental affinities is really good, makes things more diverse and it’s cool to see a character that has to be clever to win fights/solve problems, having access to all elements makes it a bit too easy sometimes, and in that same line, if there are elemental affinities in your novel, please don’t give him darkness or fire, it’ sthe same in like 90% of the novels. Also try to keep the power system logical to a certain extent, it’s obviously fantasy, but if the Mc can always do the “impossible” without a solid reason its a bit lame. Also pay attention to details, specially if there are numbers or real life concepts involved. Finally, let the Mc explore the world, and slowly expand the scope of things, makes it fun to read the journey and see how he goes from small to big. Just gonna close saying I don’t mean to tell you how to write your novel, just really like it so far and thought I’d share with you some things I always would like to see from these kind of stories.
