I hope his personality, or maybe behavior is a better word, settles soon and he kinda becomes a more well rounded character

This doesn't feel slow at all...guessing our dear author wants to get to the scenes he has coming up and writing this stuff is slow for him.

Something about seeing a group of students running away from a hoard of gigantic spiders with female ghoul bodies on top is honestly a scary image. Add some blood in the mix, and it's like I'm reading a horror novel.
