Instead of Deucalion why don't one of them just kill Jennifer, she is an easier target not to mention the real danger who wants to complete her sacrifice ritual

They don't kill her first for the simple fact that she is weaker than Deucalion, but she is still dangerous, because if they eliminate her, Deucalion will be able to focus 100% on the Buddhists and Derek, they are basically using her to eliminate Deucalion first and then probably they will take care of her.
