This makes no sense. I don’t agree with Tyrell refusing to send troops. That would never happen. Any liege lord refusing to protect their vassals would be ousted. I’m fact, the Tarlys could use this as an excuse for rebel against the Tyrells for refusing to do their duty to defend against other kingdoms. It’s one thing to not send troops to help a lord against bandits. It’s a whole different thing to refuse to defend a vassal when they’re being invaded by another Kingdom like Dorne. If the Westerlands invaded and attacked a Lord’s territory in the North and Ned Stark refused to defend that territory (let’s pretend it’s the Boltons and that he refused because he hates the Boltons), the Boltons would have a rallying cause to get all Stark-haters and legally depose the Warden of the North on charges of failing to follow the law of the Kingdom. Author: I think you fundamentally misunderstand the ASOIAF/GOT world.
