Great chapter, I think you missed an opportunity here for the mc to say "non serviam" before being ak'ed, it would make the scene cooler.

I think you are making the magic users far too competent and powerful here. Dumbledore and Grindelwald capable of destroying a town with their duel? From what I've seen in the original... nah, that's impossible. They are not that strong. Not even close. That said, I can chalk that up to your AU. As for the rest, yeah, it was an enjoyable chapter.
