Thankfully Kyled failed. What was he planning to do is evil, making the dragon his slave and force donor for his attribute. They don't have a deep enmity between them. The dragon only made it hard for Kyle to progress but never meant to truly kill him, since if Kyle failed he will just be kicked out of the tower.
