Beautiful writing as always. Lumian is still bottling a lot of feelings, really heart wrenching to see how he's scared of himself like that. He may not be as cautious, analytical or programmatic while fighting unlike Klein, but it's also because of that Lumian feels so much more relateable and real. Cuttle's characterisation this book is incredible

Lumian emerges triumphant once again. He learns something from every fight -- in this case, he learns a little bit more about himself and the inner conflict that continues to burden him. Thanks for the chapter!

hopefully nothing else happens from this point on. if lumian has to immediately deal with the other dangers in port farim after this intense battle, i dont think his mental state can handle it... (CF: evil laughter)
