爱潜水的乌贼
This is a bit of a tangent. When a person has major depression, they often lack the energy to carry out a suicide. If the person is given anti depressants without proper care to mitigate suicidal ideation, they may kill themselves. This situation with Flameng's lucidity and subsequent suicide reminded me of this warning. Anyway, thanks for the chapter!
I feel there is much more brutality in the misery in COI over LOTM. I feel it's because Klein despite all his trauma was a person who had a brighter outlook on himself but Lumain lived a life that is more cruel and unforgiving and that has left a more permanent. When Klein sees tragedy he see thing that he might be able to fix but for Lumain, it a reflection of himself staring back at him. Klein is a fool far away from home and Lumian is spends his life staring down inevitability.
