My theory is that she was an Inevitability believer since the before she adopted lumian. It was infact a plot from Inevitability to get to the fool via the connection to the fool that lumuan got through the old man. My line of thinking stems from back in the dream when she claimed she didn't want to adopt Lumian and the possibility that the statement was a revelation from her soul fragment.
Considering how Fors suggested that Lumian could use some cue from Spectator pathway then ask for blessing from Klein, I can't help but think that Aurore might be Klein's confrontation with Inevitability gone wrong. Aurore should have a strong connection with Aurore as fellow earthling and there's also some inconsistency in her behavior such as calling for the official beyonders' help and her act of saving Lumian at the end. But on the other hand, is Klein lucid enough to attempt such thing and is it even possible to trick GOO like this? Well he is the Fool and nearly Error so the potential is there.
i think Aurore discovered the Fool through the injections of knowledge from the Hidden Sage. But she did not have the honorific name or was given a incorrect one. Since the Fool and Inevitability's honorific name are similar, she ended up praying to Inevitability by accident, was tricked into believing he was someone who could help her get home and did his biding while also getting corrupted.
