ngl, it was sad, but just sad. it doesn't make me feel like I wanna cry like the ending of book 1 vol 1. maybe the fact that Aurore isn't fully dead and there's chance to revive played big role. but even if she were fully dead, for me, at part of sadness, it's not even close to the ending of book 1 vol 1

I don’t think I could possibly describe what I‘m feeling after finishing volume 1. Once again Cuttlefish sets up a stellar beginning to what I’m sure will be another incredible book.

That ending paragraph got me dropping my jaw, it was so well fitting as Aurore's words for Lumian. Anyone else noticed that the last time Aurore almost died foreshadowed the fact Lumain WILL eventually resurrecte her
