It is starting to become more darker theme than the previous book and i like it. It does not just forsake the previous one but we are gaining more new thing co related with the previous book. I think many mysteries mentioned in lotm will be solved on this book.

Too many unanswered questions... What happened to the reply from Aurore's pen friend? Maybe it is Fors but Aurore does not know her looks. The child's claw like hands and the nest makes me think of the owl. Can Madam Pualis change into an owl? Who was Fors' friend she was going to meet?

I doubt they would be able to leave the area itself as that should has the same level of difficulty as escaping the loop. Also, it would be anti-climatic if Lumian is out of danger without completely resolving the problem

so it looks like if a circle inhabitant tries to leave the loop then fate will draw up all sorts coincidences to stop that? or maybe it'll automatically reset the loop.

at this point, the only people that i can trust here is Lumian and Fors and Aurore

We know Fors gave us the clue that Madam Piers is not of the 22 Sequences already known. We know that there are 9 Outer Gods outside the planet ( 1 probably sealed in the genie lamp - Son of Chaos ) 6 paths are corrupted. That means that of the rest of the 6, a few of them tried to find another way to corrupt ( Because the only good thing Amon did, was prohibiting them to invade ). That means, there are others outer paths there, and I think COI made another of fate and time type.
