He should be training more. Where is his urgency knowing the future? He isnt even stronger then Makarov yet, and he is trash compared to real threats. He actually got to meet one - Irene. Yet he forgot it. His revenge is insignificant in bigger picture. Hopefully he will get reminded in drastic way that he needs to push himself more.

RIP MC's who have to deal with characters who deal in destruction as comedic relief.

Heh while funny just feels like the MC is being a bit to passive for my taste so perhaps have him build a house strong enough that even gildharts hurts himself if he trys to break in physically give our MC a bit of payback!

I can smell a time skip

I just hope that characters who train with MC will be stronger than their canon counterparts. Like Fairy Tail cast never actually trains seriously. Natsu trained seriously for only 1 year and he got a freaking massive power boost.
