it's not lame at all . the lame thing is killing Jia and make it a revenge novel ~ I had noticed that his master is above pagoda realm and she is just a mere outer elder is their sect that strong ? you have to focus more on the world background ~ you can make an auxiliary chapter giving information about the Continent and the empire or kingdom that our Mc live in ~ and the levels of pills ~ weapons ~ techniques ~ and of course the qi realms in the Continent that Mc lives in which I suppose is one of millions lower realms ~ you should change the spiritual roots level ~ yellow ( low / intermediate / high ) ~ black ( the same ) ~ earthly ( the same ) ~ heavenly ( the same ) ~ profound ............ it's just my suggestion if you want to take it or not that's up to you ~☆~
