First Chapter in and I can see multiple mistakes already. Opening with New York as setting but clearly not based on how his based is set up its either the author is a retard or the setting is not in the USA. Im not American but pretty sure every city has a place you can legally buy a Gun unlike any other countries. The US has more Guns and bullets made more than people. Also, not an expert so if you have a big fridge your electric bill will be to high and even if you have your own generator you will not be running until apocalypse happens since you will go broke before the apocalypse kills you. The amount of money you burn for purchasing fuel will be huge and the MC will pretty much need to be a top 100 billionaires to do his set up. Aso why Automobiles, pretty much all roads all either be to dangerous or jam pack with abandoned cars. Maps are good but you only need a few of them. Books on various field of science and crafts is a much better find. The biggest mistake, MC made that he knows thats an apocalypse is coming why build his main base of the freaking city, why not move to a rural area with cheap land price and build a fortress topside.
