You know, I just thought of something. Isn’t it ironic that the only 2 shinigami who can use a partial shikai release by calling the wrong name for their zanpakuto both have absorbing abilities? Yumichika’s Ruri’iro Kujaku has the ability to siphon reiatsu from a captured enemy and takes on a different form when called by the wrong name.
