Honestly, Jorah is such a legend in Westeros that I wouldn't even mind that much if he died. The respectful and ...sympathetic? pov from the people around him helped form that view. He is gathering all the mages around the world to boost the process of his ascension further this will probably make him a stronger god than what would have happened if he immideatly ascended if he did not bind himself to earth with his axe he is bassicaly stacking his essence and saga and mythos as much as possible before he ascends and mages are all bassicaly upgrade and skill points for his god character sheet another reason for him kidnapping them is also probably to assimilate their branches of magic as he ascend he did it with iron born warg to expand his skin changeing domain to water he is going to repeat the process for other branhces

At this point I'm pretty sure Jorah will slay the Night King with his axe and increase his powers even further.

What sort of fuc*ed up ritual is Jorah planning

I'm almost certain that Jorah is gonna become a god the moment he finally dies, that's probably why he's been kidnapping magical folks
