It's a bit much for the whole world to come after them. India would not have followed just because China and the US Say so. Though in this case with India preparing a Space program and Eden having polluted the short orbit range it could still happen. Even with this just the US and China would have moved in the first place. They didn't show enough to warrant such a force to be sent at them.
