I don't understand why he put his life at risk for random strangers

Why would he put his life in danger for some strangers, i can understand if he could overpower the juggernaut but here he only managed to defeat it with their help + plus he got seriously injured and now is unconscious which means they will know his secrets like not having falna his face dont tell me that they will not try to check his body since they're in dungeon and just got attacked by evilus and he was tailing them since they met him earlier. This chapter is a bit of a letdown + too short.
