I’ve got some ideas for Alex to get stronger For his Hosts: Maybe he could give all of them a vibranium skeleton. He could absorb some vibranium and infuse their skeleton with it. After that he could use this opertunity to infuse their new vibranium skeletons with chaos energy to make them even stronger. For Alex: There are a few other locked up snacks waiting to be devoured. Abomination (MCU) Sandman (Farm Earth) Curt Conners/Lizard (Research Earth) Agatha Harkness (MCU) Doctor Strange (MCU) Cloak of levitation (MCU) And isn’t the New York Sanctum currently unprotected. He could use this opportunity to steal all magical artefacts there. Devouring magical items could unlock all sorts of new abilities.
In the past it took a while for Alex to process infinity stones. I am surprised he hasn't given his girls a heads-up when he is about to do it. The girls have been a bit panicky about his presence diminishing before, but as this is going to become a pattern maybe one of them could point out that a warning before could be nice. Then again it could be that he learns the lesson when one of his girls is in combat and he suddenly can't support them anymore. It could also be that the protagonist continues as is. I prefer the first option of giving heads-up when integrating infinity stones, be it out of his own initiative or theirs. It feels more compassionate and considerate to me. The second option feels less preferable to me as Alex makes a mistake that could've been prevented even though it could be a moment of growth. I feel neutral about the third option as long as the consequences don't majorly mess him up, it would probably be okay. There are probably other options, but I can't really think of any. Anyways I'm enjoying the story so far
