I can’t believe after everything they have been through he runs away the moment things get hard. Together they can figure it out. It’s unnecessary for him to avoid her. Doesn’t he realize he is making things way worse for her. I never expected cane to do this iris. Yet if she is taken by rei he will have a heart attack. He begged her to never leave him yet he is leaving her. So sad.
I understand what Cane is feeling. He's frightened. After all they have gone through, it's only logical that he feels this way. But it's also very cruel and selfish in his part. She doesn't deserve it, and it makes me even sadder that he knows what she has gone through all of her childhood traumas and her pain. He would still treat her this way. I think it's unacceptable and quite honest. I'm a bit disappointed in Cane. I really hope he has a change of heatt, and he opens himself up and understands her. Otherwise, he may end up losing her either to her sadness or the darkness she knows so well. I can't believe I am gonna say this I miss,Lu. Lu would have demonstrated unconditional love.
Cane needs to get his ish together soon. Breaking Iris’s heart like this is only making the Decratic stronger. I understand he’s hurting and scared, but avoiding Iris like this is down right cruel. At this point it may take seeing Rei and feeling that fear she would be taken away to make him come to his senses. So sad and disappointing 😢
My heart breaks for BOTH of them... I agree with Aliana, he will come around. He needs to sort through his own grief & fears.. & hopefully Iris will be more considerate of him in the future & talk to him, instead of doing something life changing without his knowledge.. Just like all the other difficult & downright awful trials they've endured, I believe this will bond them more & make them stronger together.
