I had one idea. When or if you get to the part where Aizen shows off his Zanpakuto, you should let Riku get placed under Kyoka suigetsu. But you should have him be able to feel when he is being affected by it and have the ability to release himself(and possibly others) from being affected by using his perfect control. I’ve seen the theory that Kyoka Suigetsu controls other people’s senses by implanting a piece of Aizen’s energy into the body of his target to be used as a medium. You could have Riku alter his energy absorption matrix to target that sliver of energy and remove it, thus freeing the victim from Aizen’s ability.
