May I ask so the true function of Boosted gear wasn't to multiply but to add? Like this? M(Me) + M = 2M first boost M2+ M = 3M Second boost M3 + M = 4M third boost Though it may appear useless towards other beings like Mil-tan, and any other average human. It was a fatal weapon for a higher being like gods for ut to use, now I know why longinus always ended up to weak humans(Lavinia as a child is weak, Tobio start of slash dog is literally a baggage without canis lykaon, Issei doesn't beed explanation, Vali almost get abandoned if only Azazel doesn't adopted him, and Momoji Nakiri is weak and frail without the telos karma even as a member of 5 principal clans) I guess god of bible wants to balance everything.

Shub_Niggurath:Yes, that's basically how it works. Now the only thing to figure out is how much is the boost each time. I feel it can be around 2 to 5 times. Please look at my Boosted Gear rant, I specify it there. But what you said is right, in the hands of a God, or someone with a strong base, The Boosted Gear is simply too broken.
let's just chalk it up to dxd veing inconsistent. even with your explanation the boosts still don't make sense. since issei was able to go from athletic highschooler to destroy a mountain in several boosts. also if it was how you said it was he would still be able to beat his opponents easily instead of just keeping up with them.
