With the discerption the system gave I figured it was a paradox system or EU4 more specifically ... Total war doesn't have any depth nowa days

There is a real point of view problem in the writing. If the description is in the first person with an "I" then when the MC speaks or thinks it should not be "thought Jacob" but "I said".
