Author why do this loss thing. It was getting awesome after a tedious Act 1 and we felt that it's gonna be worth it as we will see a giga chad. If MC was weaker thats fine, dude is fighting with so many restrictions - it is so annoying. I mean he could use his sword atleast and tied the fight atleast. Oh well.

Thanks for the chapter! Now i know how she managed to win the match before, with such a op spell it does makes sense to beat Callius. However, i still think there's many things he could do at that moment, like do 'Ruler of Lightning' abilities which doesn't require mana or go all out with his swordsplay which seems be forgotten since he join the Academy (last time he used is just in the battle with his other sister), since you know the battle itself doesn't limited in magic. Don't get me wrong, i like Diana. she is Yandere and maybe sometimes so clingy, but i still like her. The thing why i hate him being lose is there's consequences in the battle itself, just so you know he did the battle in public where everyone sees it! it would affect his standing among others cause the 'unbeatable/unreachable' position among his peers is no longer exists. I hope the author did this with some good plan about this.

this is why usually don't read these kinds of novels, the author always nerfing the MC, only because this novel is so good I made it this far, but it's getting frustrating
