Doesn't really feel like a proper fight with him always crippling himself and his potential, he can't benefit 100% from the academy with all his capablities hidden since he can't actively and openly improve and research them, plus cutting off his own strenght and abilities makes it harder to improve and perform too not to mention frustration which he's dealing with right now. Kinda shot himself in the foot with it all. MC be like "I cant show my true strength" also "omg I'm so frustrated I lost" huh??

Thanks for the chapter! The heck, why he didn't show them his swords play or lightning abilities? iirc Ruler of Lightning make him can use lightning without mana. Or at least use your swords! you forget, before you're in academy while your mana sealed you have monstrous sword play, you forgot that?
