Nah it's kinda funny how the Ancient magic plot is so simular. Merlin who leaves an inheritance for Ancient magic, while also trials from previous professors. It's almost like the Author had early access to the game. But then again, the game does change a lot of the castle and the map around it.

maybe make a symbol that Is hidden on another one. like for every one Else that sees the club symbol they would see some sort prank like Dumbledor would see the peverell symbol. while for the ones that belong to the club It would change into something that only they can see. i think that a sphinx is great . the symbolize knowlege and its pursuit.

man i remember one fic where mc got caught in a curse for a trial in hogwarts and his emotions gained personality and took over, greed was the one that nearly won cause it ate the other emotions it was an interesting battle of mind arts to gain back control
