The story line is confusing and it's a little trashy

I'm quite confused. The chapter didn't seem to match the synopsis and first chapter. Or is there some plot twist somewhere down the road? The description paints a picture of an ordinary family yet she fell into the pool in the Wen household? Is the Wen family some low-key but actually super rich or something? Or should it have been Chen family instead?

i don't fully understand this novel?is chen family rich?also why if this girl has been kidnapped how come she lived in Wen family and the adopted girl has Wen as surname so are Wen family and Wen girl are familiar?did they kidnap her on purpose and gave them their own daughter?so confusing
