Try and finish season 1 the best way you can, and then wait for season 2, if you need to fix a problem later on, you could have the OC have an ancient item that will allow the OC and wednesday travel back in time to alter some events that would allow you to tie your season 1 with 2 later on, just a thought.

Option two, if you’re unsure about writing more of this, then put it on hiatus and focus on your other work. Besides, that should help prevent burnout on this story as well.

I mean, season 1 ends with Wednesday going home for summer. It’s incredibly unlikely that s2 will take place over summer or explain what happened over the majority of it. So just write about Vlad spending half of summer with Wednesday and half with Enid. This way, if anything DID happen over summer, you can handwave that it happened when Vlad wasn’t around. If you exaust summer chapters, then focus on your other stories, or go into GT territory. Basically, you still have a dozen chapters ish to cover with S1 events, and then you could easily do a dozen summer chapters before you even have to touch S2 stuff.

maybe you could do a short summer break do some chapters on The Addams Family and Vlad getting closer and jump back to the plot when the season two comes out

I say that getting her family cleared of the distrust from the supposed crime committed and stop for a bit until season 2 fully comes out so you have enough to throw a bit of your own parts in there that hint the future but stay in the present.
