It feels kinda out of nowhere the betrayal, like you didn't know where to take the story and decided to pull that off.

not everyone speaks Romanian or uses Google translate my friend. put the translation somewhere next time lol I was thinking it was Spanish for a sec then realized it was Romanian

God I love this novel so much, I don’t think the betrayal was forced, I think it’s reasonable since power corrupts. And having that kind of power and also ruling the world for hundreds of years isnt somthing people want to give up. So when your “master” comes out of nowhere, betrayal will be at the top of their minds.
