Hey author, I think you're missing some details. So they go try to become adventurers, the girl secretly trained with a sword and the guy didn't so he failed since he didn't have any offense skills. I understand this part but what is this school and why are they staying at the guild? Why did he ask her about smell? why did she confess like that?
I usually don't leave a comment or judge a book this quick. However the start of the book doesn't seem promising tbh. Why, if these 2 are supposed to be friends, doesn't he already know he would need a combat skill to register? You have made a point of saying that both of them have been preparing to become Adventurers for at least a few years but are this ignorant of it. This reflects so poorly on the MCs intelligence and even manhood. Bow or tracking skills and other scout type abilities could have been an easy start and not make him look like sich a wimp. Heck even some basic and useful magic or healing skills would be better, I don't need him "macho" however I do need him useful in some way.
