Utterly dense and dumb. Literally, they are princes. Go out and conquer a new kingdom or marry a crown princess from another kingdom that will guarantee they will be king; there, money and if they were decent rulers, they can ensure they have the riches they so desperately want. Or, wow, how about supporting the rightful heir to the throne; I am sure Lazarus would have doted on Jasper and Jade like he does Magnus but I can't blame anyone but Viktor and their mother for spoiling them such that they are truly blind and ignorant that Viktor doesn't care for their safety as long as their breathing ensures he lives and rules. He will gladly throw them in the path of Lazarus on a murder spree if it guaranteed he could live another second and Dumb and Dumber must be aware of this but because they receive some coins, it doesn't matter to them not realizing how much money Viktor would be saving of neither was alive to mooch off of him.
