She knows that he needs blood. He IS a vampire after all. As much as he wants to feed her, she wants to feed him, too. I don't think it's just because she's his blood slave. As his mate, she doesn't want him drinking from anybody else. If she wasn't strong enough to feed him she wouldn't be strong enough to be his mate. I love the way he is caring for her now.
