So Emma’s mum is alive and is a dragon keeper. Emma’s dad’s indifferent attitude towards her might be because she looks like her mum, the woman who has deserted him. He most likely thinks, she deserted him for another man and not because she heeded the call of her destiny. I know nothing of Brantly Adams, as I have not read that book. Which book is it?.
