Honestly, the MC's skill is ignored most of the time he's lucky, when it should be the explanation for when he's lucky. The Sacrifice skill (honestly, a skill that can be considered a cheat in itself), this skill of the dragon, when he finds an unowned dungeon, when the village chief gives him a dungeon token specifically useful for his talent, when your cook (former bandit) decided to just attack your restaurant for no reason at all, probably other things I can't remember at the moment ... all of these would be opportunities where it could be "I turned on my cheating luck skill, that's why I got so lucky" but actually the skill remains unused 99% of the time . The story is fun, honestly, but I'm stopping here. Thank you author for everything.
Those things are also something that his talent passively affected. There's a line on a chapter here that talks about how he hasn't encountered anything that is to his advantage since getting his talent. Also, 'Fortune' is a "skill" that basically turn things absolutely into Alex's favor, if you know what I mean.
