I love the story, but the problem with her being married is just stupid, you can get a divorce if your spouse is gone missing. It just wouldn't make seanse to have been stuck for lifetime married to missing person, law is not so stupid đ¤Ł
Glad to know you love the story, and I do agree with you she can get a divorce even with her husband missing. But with a few questions asked and personal research done, I discovered that no court can begin processing a divorce request until the filing spouse notifies/serves the other spouse with divorce papers, and a proof of service is submitted to the court. In Lina's case successfully serving her spouse without a current address is the problem, hence the delay and her use of private investigators in searching for him as mentioned in a prior chapter.
