I wonder how Linley will develop. I expect him to grow stronger slower compared to canon since finding and/or taking revenge for his mother is one of his main motivations for growing stronger. I think losing that motivation will decrease his growth speed by 30% or more. Moreover, as shown in this chapter, being spoiled by his mother and never experiencing any sense of loss has made both him and his father more unlikable. I wonder if he'll still be able to make the same level of friends as he did in canon when he acts like a spoiled child and makes enemies left right and center. I'm looking forward to more!

oof, it pains me to see the Baruch family like this. Hopefully it doesn't get to the point of Linley being an annoying Young Master.

i really don't like this development, i hope it won't continue like this, i mean changing the characters is not something thats bad, but this feels way out of character

Linley would nevver do this but at 9years old there is a chance he would do this so will move one but please dont butcher Linley which is 1 of the 1st MCs i have loved reading about as I grew up...

why did he antagonize them in the first place?? just say no and be done with it. this is just unnecessary drama
