The FL is sure funny. I love her hidden views of her husband; too bad he’ s able to read her thoughts though! But her sincerity towards her ma-in-law and adopted son is so heartwarming. It will be so amusing to see the iceberg falling head over heels for his disdained wife, who’s only waiting for him to die off at age 50 so that she can grab half of his assets!

I’m really liking the premise of this novel. Fight the foreign invaders and protect the child. 😁
