Comments of chapter undefined of Demon King of Tyranny Anos Voldigoad in The Eminence in Shadow
So let me get this straight..... Anos had his brother captured and tortured by this woman, and he had also been threatened by her father that he must find his daughter (the aforementioned girl's sister) alone, and if he couldn't return her safe within 3 days he would have his innocent brother killed for it. Furthermore, the princess who had been torturing Anos's brother was about to kill his sister less than a second before he had made a disturbance because....Wait for it.... She didn't know that in their brief encounter in a dark room, the boy she had never met before was her brother, thus couldn't tell her the identity of someone who the princess had already known the identity of. Moreover, she was constantly manipulating the sister to make her feel bad for trying to save her own brother from them torturing him, while constantly emphasizing how they need to work together to, through any means necessary, find her sister. Like bish, take your own advice and think about your actions (keep in mind they were supposed to have gotten along decently before this, and yet this is still how she is treated). After this, she had even threatened him multiple times after saving her sister with not so much as a thank you, and been nothing but bi*chy about it, and he's just going to..... Let her go? Not so much as a word said? I hope I'm just commenting too early and he'll do something next chapter, because this is just disgusting behavior, and I'm sure half the members of the cult that he killed hadn't done half the things she'd done, let alone the fact it wasn't to just anybody she'd done it to but himself.
Thanks for the chapter! The world has almost being destroyed and only one person ever realized it! I got the feeling that these kind of situation are going to become routine for Millia with her being the only one realizing how bad things are getting and trying to defuse the situation before the "foolish humans" blow the demon king fuse and cause ragnarok. As for Iris, author should work a little bit more on her. She's not a bad person, she's simply a bad combination of stubborn, naive and overall bad at handling complicated stuff (she herself admit that Alexia is smarter than her) in the series she came across as a negative character because Cid's been driving her to a mental breakdown which is hardly her fault, I mean, who wouldn't been driven mad by him!?
Anos was the Demon king of Tyranny! and him letting his family get torture for baseless accusations and his sister almost died by her. Even with the reason of finding Iris. Claire was a foolish princess that needed to be punish for pointing her sword at anyone that she deemed suspicious without a proper investigation, her arrogance was her own downfall
