I think that releasing one big chapter per day instead of two small one can help alleviate a problem some may have with the story which is the pacing. Like the last volume and this one is over a hundred chapter long compared to the earlier volume so one per day can prevent the story from feeling bloated even though the amount of contents are basically the same. Also you would only need to come up with one chapter title per day rather than two.

Personally I'd say one big one, especially if the two smaller ones are basically just the larger chapter cut in half.
