The story isn’t going bad. It’s not blend either, but it might feel slow for some people. My advice would be to avoid fan service by just writing what people wants. It’s what you want to write that matter because that’s how we can feel your passion which is a blend repellent. As for how to write it, the story so far feels linear because MC follows a plan which is good. It is rewarding for us because we followed the process, for the mc because he became stronger and for you because you’re complete the stages of you’re story (+your contract idk). However, what can infuriate loyal reader is when an author forget what he prieviously wrote. You’re first arc is separated in 2 parts : the dungeon part and the war. Finish them before going forward or you’ll loose parts. After that, you already have your 2nd arc setup : the petrified eggs (for a basilisk, a medusa or +) and the egg quest for demon dungeon master. It has a coherent theme, so you can stick to it. During it you can setup the 3rd arc which would be about time players go into mc’s dungeon + something else (for example, a new mythical snake related to the world tree *cough* Niddhog *cough*). And so on and so on. Lastly, I’d HIGHLY advise to take notes (this poste for example). Assume that you will forget everything, so prepare a special file just for it if you don’t already have one and you should avoid a lot of unnecessary problems. Sincerely, a fan of mythical snakes.
ok, I only know it as a dragon from norse mythology. So I just looked it up again just in case and also found two Versions. One where it is descriebed as a dragon that looks snake like and the other as a snake. But I only found very little that described it as a snake most described it as a snake like dragon. Wikipedia was one of the dragon one, and on a side like mythologysource it is described as a snake. Well overall I don't think this Experiment will bring out something like niddhog, but it is not impossible considering, that the worldtree, poisonous snakes and a lot of poison is used in the Experiment. But at the same time it is unlikely because of the worldtree itself, nidhogg after all eats on the world tree it is not Part of it.

No, the story is still good. But your break propably made some people also make a break for some time. I also didn't have any time for the last 2 days so could only read the new 3 now. Another thing is that it is obviously nice to read a bunch of them after each other than waiting for 1 chapter each time. So some will Stock the chapters up and only unlock them. I didn't see any quality drop from the story itself. Especially now where the Experiment that he did so long begins to take shape it is more of a high point in the chapters. I also personaly still read them normally 1 chapter at a time when it comes out since I can't wait. As for why less people read, idk do they? I can't See als statistics so it is relatively hard. There is also the fact that a novel generally gets only less people over time who continue it in comparison to the first chapters since a lot of them Jump off on the way, like for example when 100 people read the first 25 chapters maybe only 99 people read the 26th chapter. Then obviously there will come new readers who will read until the newest (I was such an example since I only started reading as this book already had over 100 chapters) but it won't change the fact that it is still this one guy less than the early chapters. (especially the ones that are for free) So don't get down by it and keep going. like you said author san creation is hard. So obviously it is impossible to make it perfect for everyone. Make what you think would be best for the story and just go with it. I don't know about others but you will defenetely have my mental Support.
