Afterall if you ask me a loser in his past life can't suddenly Become some op guy in his next life. Besides why it is possible by most is because they where either op in the past life or it is like they started completely from the beginning and were just ahead from others so that they just became arrogant and nothing else, but that makes sense afterall they are on the top there. Mc here start a year later than others. He is basically lvl 1 in the game vs lvl 100+ people who all control territory and in real life a Person who was besten up all his life. Where should his mentality growth come from if not from mistakes. While there was not really a very big mistake, but they accumulated and helped him change his mindset. To be true this may even be the scene that I likes the most in the whole novel.
