I thought that time didn't work the same in the spirit world so that a month there was a day outside. Why is it that they have been waiting days for Abbadon to return after becoming a spirit dragon when he's been taking in the other elements so quickly?

I don't think that this fight will have any consequences unless that sword destroys souls. Abaddon will just stroll up and undo all the damage.
